RALPH JAFFE:  THE REAL DEAL FOR GOVERNOR OF MARYLAND 

 

A TRUE DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH 

 

In a world filled with prejudice, racism, hatred, and corruption, how often can one use the adjectives “trustworthy”, “integrity”, “honest”, and “brilliant” to refer to an individual whose goal is to become governor and make positive changes for the people, and not himself? 

 

After being on this earth for 45 years, I can finally use those words to describe the most honorable man running for governor…..not only in Maryland, but any state in this flawed country in which we live. 

 

Mr. Jaffe was told about a terrible case in which a child was placed in the abusive father’s home, and he has made it his own personal mission return this child to his mother after over two years of them living in a dark cloud of despair and hopelessness.  The mother and child became victims of the family court, in which we all know is nothing more than a money making, scheming, and ineffective system that does nothing more than victimize our children  and provide them with no means of protection. 

 

The mother is an expert in clinical psychology and worked with children in foster care for over twenty years.  The biased judge, who refused to allow the mother to have her own expert witnesses or evidence to be presented in court, took the child completely away from the mother. 

 

There was never any indication of abuse or neglect from the mother toward her ten year old son.  In fact, she had been the sole caretaker of the child since birth.  The father, who was described by his own expert witness as an alcoholic individual with “rage issues”, was given sole custody of the child.  The mother was given nothing…..no visits, no phone calls, no contact whatsoever.   The reason given was the mother was “overprotective”.  Never before in Maryland has a judge been so unbelievably cruel and unjust.  The father’s attorney is a high school drinking “buddy” and there was also a court appointed best interest attorney, who worked many cases with the father’s attorney.  It is odd how the two attorneys always recommended the same thing, regardless of the facts of the case.  Many families are now victims of those two predators as well. 

 

Upon hearing this incredible story, Mr. Jaffe made it a point to call the mother immediately and not only gave his support, but has continued to do so since he made the promise to do everything he can to help this child and mother.  Mr. Jaffe never asked for anything……not even votes and he has made it clear that his only goal is to protect this little boy. 

 

The child and mother have been fighting for justice for almost seven years. The police are no help,  CPS is just a cruel joke for anyone who thinks that they are an institution based on the best interest of the children.  The government officials  only turn a blind eye and claim that they cannot help, not because they can’t…….just because they do not want to get involved.

 

This mother has been writing to anyone and everyone for years.  These are the individuals who refused to help, but claim they are about making the state a better place and keeping children safe……Governor Martin O’Malley, Delegate Jill Carter, Lt Governor Anthony Brown, and State’s Attorney, Dario Broccolino, who just recently agreed to attempt to assist….only because of Mr. Jaffe’s demands. 

Mr. Jaffe has become an advocate for this helpless mother and abused child and refuses to turn his back on them.  I consider that someone who needs to be elected in a state where no one allows the child to have a voice. 

In fact, Mr. Jaffe understands that a ten year old tells the truth and knows want he/she wants or needs.  A child knows where they are safe and protected.  A child knows who he/she would be best suited to reside with, especially in cases of abuse and neglect. 

 

Our Child Protective Service case workers are nothing more than inept individuals who want to work their hours and go home.  The police department never wants to get involved, even when they know the child is being abuse and/or neglected.  The government officials ALWAYS blame anyone that they can, in order for them to stay clear of the situation.  The schools have even turned their backs on this defenseless child, claiming that they “do not get involved in family issues”. 

 

The reason I know these facts about Mr. Ralph Jaffe is because I am that mother, and my son is the one who has been a victim of his father and paternal  family for years. 

 

I have spent my life savings depending on crooked attorneys who promise the world and give you nothing.  I have placed my faith in psychologists and counselors, who have been paid off to testify against me.  I have placed my faith in the government to  help correct this nightmare, and NO ONE has done anything thus far. 

 

My ten year old became so desperate that he was hospitalized at Howard County General in February for suicidal ideation.  The end result…..my son was sent back to the house with his father. 

 

There is no mistaken that Mr. Jaffe is compassionate and eager to make Maryland a better place.  He understands and acknowledges the corruption in Maryland and I know no one who would have the strength to stand up to the other candidates, who do nothing but place false hope in the minds of the voters. 

 

If Maryland wants a positive change for the benefit of the children and residents of the state, I would proudly say that voting for Mr. Ralph Jaffe is the only hope that Maryland has left.  Our state has become one in which no one wishes to reside because of the corruption and deception.  It needs to change and the only way is with a honest and upstanding individual like Mr. Ralph Jaffe. 

 

THERE SHOULD BE NO QUESTION LEFT IN ANY VOTERS’ MINDS……..MR RALPH JAFFE IS THE ONLY CHOICE WE HAVE LEFT.  DO NOT MAKE A WRONG DECISION BASED ON LIES AND PROMISES THAT WILL NEVER BE KEPT.  BASE YOUR DECISION ON WHAT IS IN YOUR HEART.  THAT IS WHAT THIS COUNTRY NO LONGER POSSESSES……..WE HAVE ALL LOST FAITH AND RIGHTFULLY SO.  NOW IS THE TIME TO MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE AND TRUST IN RALPH JAFFE, WHO HAS MADE NO FRIVOLOUS PROMISES TO MAKE MARYLAND A BETTER PLACE.  THE TRUTH ALWAYS PREVAILS, AND THAT IS WITH MR. JAFFE.
